The Bronze Pinocchio is a video work where fairy-tale figures converge— the noble statue of Prince Vyachko grows a Pinocchio-like nose that stretches toward a pointing finger. The piece plays with the themes of truth and deceit, questioning how we can distinguish fact from fiction, or reality from distortion. Created in the aesthetic of a tourist smartphone video, the work functions as bothironic commentary and poetic allegory. Its looping structure underscores how seamlessly suspicion and falsehood recur within the fabric of our everyday information landscape.
